This is a courtesy translation. The authoritative text is the Portuguese version — read it here — which is the one that governs. Both describe the same product.
These terms apply to the use of NinjaClip at ninjaclip.app. By using the service, you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
1. What the service is
NinjaClip is a video editor that runs in the browser. It cuts pauses, suggests which takes to drop, generates captions, reframes for social formats, treats the voice, creates a soundtrack and exports the result. Video processing happens on your computer; captions, take selection and soundtrack use third-party services, as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Account
Pause cutting works without signing up. Captions, smart selection, soundtrack, saved projects and export require an account, created with email and password or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for what is done in your account.
You may close your account whenever you want by writing to maickellh@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or threaten the stability of the service.
3. Plans, price and limits
NinjaClip has a free plan and paid plans. On the free plan you use the whole editor without paying: the video comes out with the NinjaClip mark in the corner, and speech reading has a monthly quota of minutes. Paid plans raise that quota, remove the watermark and unlock additional features.
What you pay for is the speech reading, which runs on our servers and has a real cost per use. Cutting, captioning and exporting run on your own computer and have no limit on any plan.
Billing for paid plans is monthly and recurring, processed by Stripe. Card details are typed on Stripe's own page: they do not pass through our servers and we do not see them. Prices are in Brazilian reais; outside Brazil, Stripe shows the amount in the local currency at checkout.
Cancelling. You can cancel whenever you want, by yourself, in the subscription portal — sign in with the email you paid with. The same portal is where you change the card and download invoices. If you cancel, you keep the plan until the end of the period you have already paid for and you are not charged again. In the case of a full refund, plan access ends immediately and the account returns to the free plan. If you prefer, write to maickellh@gmail.com.
We may adjust quotas and prices, giving advance notice to account holders. No price change applies to a period already paid for.
4. The video is yours
You remain the owner of everything you put into NinjaClip and everything you export from it. We claim no rights over your content and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
In return, you declare that you hold the necessary rights over what you edit — the likeness of the people who appear, music, trademarks and other elements — and you are solely responsible for the use you make of the result.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use NinjaClip to produce or distribute material that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that impersonates another person. Do not try to circumvent plan limits, overload the service, or extract the third-party keys it uses.
6. What automatic editing does and does not promise
The editing decisions are suggestions. Speech reading can mistake a word, a good take can be marked for discard, and separating the person from the background is openly experimental in the browser. That is why the editor shows you every suggestion to approve, and nothing is applied behind your back.
Check the result before publishing. Responsibility for the final video lies with whoever publishes it.
7. Availability
The service is offered as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features — including those that depend on third parties, such as transcription and music generation. If we are going to discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can download your projects.
Because your videos stay on your computer and not on our servers, keeping backups of your files is your responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NinjaClip is not liable for lost profits, loss of data, indirect losses or damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing here removes rights that Brazilian consumer law guarantees.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top indicates the latest version, and material changes will be announced by email to account holders. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version.
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the user's place of residence are elected to settle disputes.
